This study examines the violence experienced by beggars in Mardan, Pakistan, and their corresponding coping mechanisms. Employing a quantitative methodology and probability sampling, the research recruits’ respondents from the beggar population in Mardan. Utilizing an interview schedule for data collection and SPSS for data analysis, the study conducts univariate analysis and chi-square tests. It presents descriptive statistics on various socio-demographic variables and bivariate statistics demonstrating that both male and female beggars face sexual violence. However, male beggars experience more sexual violence than their female counterparts.
