AB - <p><em>This study examined the mediating role of green organizational citizenship behavior in relationship of green human resource management practices and environmental performance in banking sector of Pakistan. Drawing upon </em><em>Ability Motivation Opportunity (AMO) Theory and Social Exchange Theory (SET), 357 banking professionals completed a survey questionnaire to undertake this cross-sectional study. The results from Hayes’ Process Macro 4 revealed that GHRM practices were the strong predictor of GOCB and </em><em>environmental performance environmental performance. Further, this study also proved mediating role of green organizational citizenship behavior in relationship of green human resource management practices and environmental performance in banking sector of Pakistan.
