Pakistan’s Cultural Diplomacy Towards China: Soft Power Strategies and Bilateral Dynamics

Abstract

The cultures of both China and Pakistan are characterized by various social stratification, religious coexistence, art and architecture. Cultural diplomacy, people to people bonds, mutual understanding through various exchange programs, and mutual collaboration is th e most important pillars of both Pakistan and China relations. Over the years, the two countries have carried out various social-cultural exchange programs to promote their cultural connections which has contributed to the strengthening of the bilateral ties. This present article is an effort to understand the phenomenon of Pakistan-China cultural diplomacy. Particular attention is paid to deeply investigate Pakistan's cultural diplomacy towards China, is a new dimension to the study and understanding.
