Abstract

This research paper presents a scholarly study of the life and services of Hazrat Maulana Abdul Manan Ubaid (1912–1977). He dedicated his life to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, public reform, and social service. After graduating from Darul Uloom Deoband, he engaged in teaching, preaching, and reformative movements that left a profound impact on the religious and social life of the region. In particular, through the establishment of Anjuman Islah al-Muslimeen, he achieved remarkable success in eradicating customs and innovations, and in reviving Islamic social values. The study reveals that Maulana Ubaid’s contributions, at intellectual, reformative, and social levels, represent the stature of a continuous movement.
